DAY 11: BOOK SPINE POEM ON THE STATE OF THE UNION THAT IS ME

§

Na/GloPoWriMo: Write “...a poem that addresses the future, answering the questions “What does y(our) future provide? What is your future state of mind? If you are a citizen of the “union” that is your body, what is your future “state of the union” address?”

Well, to be honest, I'm still pretty fried after the last few days of travel. And there's a teeny weeny drama I'm dealing with, one I hope to be able to let you in on soon, however it turns out.

But I'm back home with my books again, and this #bookspinepoetry is quite a lot of fun, so here, in response to today's prompt, is a book spine poem. (Books by Leonard Cohen, George Bowering, Kim Goldberg, Leona Gom, Jacqueline Baldwin, Dianne Hicks Morrow, Stuart Ross, Shannon Bramer and Lesley Choyce.)
