NaHaiWriMo—A MONTH OF HAIKU—FRIDAY MORNING RICHES

§

Friday market riches
tiger's eye, garnets, sapphires, rubies
never so sweet

Friday morning around four-thirty or five the vendors drive into town and set up their wares. Leather belts, all manner of jewelry, Mexican vanilla, table cloths, blankets, rugs, dresses, a roaring stand of second-hand clothing, wood cutting boards, masks (the kind you hang on a wall), pine needle basket ware, THC infused creams and more...but one of the first places we go is to the fruit stand. I'm salivating  just thinking about it!

I'm loving these Manzanilla haiku and photographs as we all trudge around staying safe (and cold. Or damp.) in Canada! Thank you, Linda.
