Just finished putting together a chapbook I'll be reading from at the Books for Kids reading tomorrow night. Here's what it looks like:
For those of you in or around Nelson, there will be a benefit reading at the Nelson Library Saturday, December 6 at 7PM to raise money to purchase books for kids for the food hampers created every Christmas by the Nelson Food Cupboard. Books for Kids is a great initiative organized by Olindo Chiocca that last year saw age-appropriate books placed in the hampers thanks to audience donations and a partnership with Nelson's Otter Books. This year, Jennie's Book Garden in Winlaw is donating a bunch of books to the cause, too.

Live music by Yuki (Yukico Tsutsui).
Fred Rosenberg will MC, and there will be goodies and a festive atmosphere for cheerful schmoozing. Spread the word!
Oh yes, and there'll be a book table where you can buy gifts or add to your own Kootenay collection.
